1 Year before procedure

• You are not a good candidate if you have taken Accutane, Tazorac, or any other similar medications within one year before the scheduled semi-permanent makeup procedure.

30 Days before procedure

• AVOID Retinols (also avoid 30 days after procedure)

• AVOID Anti-aging creams (also avoid 30 days after procedure)

• AVOID Botox, fillers (around brow area for brow procedures or in LIPS for lips procedure only), Dysport treatments on forehead and eye area

• AVOID Glycolic treatments

• AVOID Laser treatments on face

• AVOID Chemical peels on face

2 Weeks before procedure

• AVOID all facials

• AVOID extensive sun exposure or sunburn on face

1 Week before procedure

• AVOID ibuprofen, aspirin (Tylenol/acetaminophen is OK to consume)

• AVOID fish oils

• AVOID turmeric

• AVOID vitamin E

• AVOID niacin

• AVOID marijuana/smoking

1-3 Days before procedure

• AVOID eyebrow tint 

• AVOID alcohol (especially red wine)

• AVOID coffee (1/2 cup is OK)

• AVOID excessive amounts caffeine

• AVOID intense physical activity day of procedure (light yoga or walking is OK)
